Nathaniel J. “Nate” Merkel, L.O., GISP has 11 years of experience in coordination and management of projects for geographic information system projects for stormwater, water, and wastewater infrastructure. Nate has extensive experience working with municipal officials, including boroughs, townships, and authorities, as well as wetland identification and delineation.
He has worked closely with community water systems to create and implement source water protection plans, developed and updated emergency response plans, operation and maintenance plans, as well as performed security vulnerability assessments.
Nate received a B.S. in Geo-Environmental Science from Shippensburg University. He is a licensed Class E Water System Operator in Pennsylvania, and is a certified GIS professional.
