Learn More Effluent Storage Tank Evaluations
ARRO completed comprehensive visual examinations of the Eagle Hunt effluent storage tank, Upland Farms effluent storage tank, and Windsor Ridge effluent storage tank. Inspection of these effluent tanks consisted of visual inspection to determine the overall condition of the tanks’ exterior, foundation, and appurtenances. ARRO found the tanks to be in good overall condition, with minimal need for minor repairs. The recorded defects and ARRO’s recommended repairs were included in each tank’s report.

Challenge: Due to tighter effluent restrictions on nitrogen and phosphorus, major WWTP upgrades became necessary.
Opportunities: Work closely with the client to select an innovative technology for nutrient removal and integrate it into their existing WWTP. Implement a new headworks, a new biological nutrient removal system, a new emergency generator, and upgrades to the SCADA system.

ARRO provides ongoing hydraulic modeling services to the Authority for its distribution system. ARRO’s services include development of the model in WaterGEMS from CADD-formatted distribution maps, billing data, and documentation on pumping and storage infrastructure provided by Authority staff. Ongoing modeling services include on-call evaluations of available capacity (flow and pressure), fire supply, and recommendations for distribution system upgrades within the service area.

Willistown Township is located between the mainline and Route 3 in eastern Chester County, Pennsylvania, with an approximate population of 11,000 people. Willistown became a township in 1704 and has a history predating the Revolutionary War.
As Willistown’s Zoning Officer, ARRO is responsible for permits, inspections, orders, and citations issued by the township. ARRO completes commercial and residential building code inspections as needed, along with plan reviews.
